of our spiritual community this past year.

As most of you clearly understand, running a “church” is a business. Your volunteer Board of Trustees is a steward of your monies. We are asking for your help in developing and maintaining a sound financial foundation for Foothill Center. In order to accomplish this excellent goal, we are asking our members and friends to join us in signing a pledge card with a stated monthly financial donation. Knowing we can be assured of counting on guaranteed income each month will help us budget more wisely and creatively during the upcoming year. These funds will be used to pay operational expenses for bringing you even more programs and activities that will foster and enhance your spiritual growth.

To give you an idea of what it cost to keep our Center alive this year and last, our financial requirement was determined to be approximately $165.00 per member per month, or $42.00 per week to operate OUR church. We know that many of you give more than that and we thank you for your generosity!

Now we'll have this opportunity to share the blessing of financial security for our spiritual home in the coming year. We all benefit from this goodness by receiving the spiritual nourishment that Foothill Center provides. In the mail you, as a member, will be receiving a pledge card to fill out and return in the enclosed envelope, or if you would like you may take your card to the Center office during the weekly business hours (Monday - Thursday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.). Your pledge and your giving are private confidential, seen only by the church treasurer and the data entry person.
